JJ Miller

JJ Miller is a digital entertainment and news media executive offering a career track record that combines strategic business operations leadership with creative direction to drive significant growth in viewership and brand exposure across various media platforms.
JJ Miller founded her eponymous media company in 2010. Since then she has worked with major brands, small companies and nonprofits to help them hone their video and audio strategies, create compelling, shareable content and respond to ever-shifting industry transitions. In addition, JJ Miller currently serves as Vice President, Media and Video, of Zoco Media, Dr. Mehmet Oz’s media company and Sharecare Inc, a health and wellness engagement platform that provides consumers with personalized information, programs and resources to improve their health.
She was Vice President, Programming at PeopleTV and Executive Producer, Style and Entertainment Group at Time Inc. where she oversaw programming for Time Inc.’s (now Meredith Corporation’s) free streaming network, in addition to all video content for the Style and Entertainment Group. Across platforms, Miller spearheaded and developed programming pertaining to celebrity, entertainment, news, human interest, live events and lifestyle for the iconic brands: People, Entertainment Weekly, Essence, InStyle and People en Español.

Prior to joining Time Inc., Miller served as Vice President and Senior
Creative Executive for Katie Couric Media, where she led news and
scripted programming for broadcast, cable and broadband networks. Previously, she worked at HuffPost, serving as Deputy Executive Producer for HuffPost Live, where she specialized in creating original programming. Before joining HuffPost, Miller was Executive Producer of Talk Programming for SiriusXM.

For the decade prior, she spent an incredible chapter working for the Oprah Winfrey brands, including: O, The Oprah Magazine, as Special Projects Director; Oprah Radio and Harpo Productions, as
Producer of “The Gayle King Show,” later bringing that popular radio
show to the small screen on OWN.

Miller graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Media and Journalism.
